Tata AIA Life Introduces Three ULIP Funds Focused on Innovation & Global Technology
24-Mar-26   09:28 Hrs IST

Tata AIA Life Insurance has launched three new funds through its Unit-Linked Insurance Plans (ULIPs), aiming to provide policyholders with access to India's growth sectors and global technology trends.

These new schemes are the Large Mid Cap Innovation Fund, the Large Mid Cap Innovation Pension Fund, and the Global AI & Technology Leaders Fund.

The New Fund Offer (NFO) for these schemes will be open from March 24 to March 31, 2026. Units will be offered at a Net Asset Value (NAV) of Rs 10 for the domestic funds and 10 dollars for the global fund.

The Large Mid Cap Innovation Fund, targeting long-term capital appreciation, will invest in large and mid-sized Indian companies associated with innovation-centric sectors.

The Large Mid Cap Innovation Pension Fund follows a similar strategy; however, it combines equity investment with life insurance under a pension framework and is available through pension-oriented ULIP products designed specifically for retirement planning.

Both funds use the NSE 500 Index as their benchmark and may allocate between 60% and 100% of their assets to equities, with the remainder invested in debt securities and money market instruments.

The Global AI & Technology Leaders Fund will adopt a passive strategy, tracking an index of companies engaged in artificial intelligence, semiconductors, cloud infrastructure, and digital platforms. This fund primarily invests in equities, with an allocation ranging from 70% to 100%, and is offered through a dollar-denominated ULIP product.
