Revenue for the period under review was Rs 5841.90 crore. The growth in revenue was driven by higher demand in passenger cars and off-highway segment
Total operating expenditure rose by 21% to Rs 5,020.80 crore in Q1 FY27 over Q1 FY26, primarily due to higher raw material costs (up 37.5% YoY) and higher purchases of finished goods (up 33.7% YoY).
Profit before tax in Q1 FY27 stood at Rs 941.80 crore, down 32.4% from Rs 1,393.80 crore in Q1 FY26.

The scrip jumped 4.38% to currently trade at Rs 45150 on the BSE.
