APL Apollo Tubes Ltd up for third straight session

APL Apollo Tubes Ltd gained for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 2190.8, up 1.97% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.24% on the day, quoting at 23325.6. The Sensex is at 74509.35, up 0.26%. APL Apollo Tubes Ltd has risen around 3.25% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Metal index of which APL Apollo Tubes Ltd is a constituent, has risen around 0.33% in last one month and is currently quoting at 12858.45, up 0.94% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 3.37 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 6.6 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark September futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 2203, up 2.73% on the day. APL Apollo Tubes Ltd is up 29.55% in last one year as compared to a 7.9% drop in NIFTY and a 29.93% drop in the Nifty Metal index.
