AVG Logistics jumps 2.36% after securing a 5-year, Rs 18 crore per annum contract with a cement manufacturer

AVG Logistics Ltd. is currently trading at Rs 203.75, up 2.36%, while its price has risen 0.47% over the last week. AVG Logistics Limited (BSE – 543910, NSE – A VG) has secured a long-term contract from a renowned Indian cement manufacturer to deploy 30 heavy-duty electric vehicles (EVs) for inbound and outbound logistics, commencing August 12, 2026. The 5-year contract, extendable for an additional 3 years, is valued at approximately Rs 18 crore per annum and includes the establishment and maintenance of dedicated EV charging stations, marking a significant expansion of AVG’s sustainable industrial logistics portfolio. This engagement is expected to bolster the company's financial performance, contributing to both topline and operating profitability, and aligns with AVG’s strategic vision of green and sustainable growth, as highlighted by Managing Director Sanjay Gupta. Trading volume totaled 8518 shares today, a decrease of 24.2% from the one-week average. AVG Logistics Ltd. edged lower by 13.72% year-over-year, underperforming the 0.46% loss in the NIFTY50 index.
