Accord Transformer jumps 3.22% after securing Rs 9.69 crore transformer supply orders from Megha Engineering

Accord Transformer & Switchgear Ltd. is up 3.22% to Rs 64.35, extending recent gains and adding 4.38% over the last week.

Accord Transformer & Switchgear Ltd. announced it has received two purchase orders from Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited for the supply of transformers, totaling approximately Rs 9.69 Crore including GST. The orders, comprising Rs 1.81 Crore (PO-4500111258) and Rs 7.88 Crore (PO-4500111257), are for 17 transformers to be used in EV charging station development projects, with deliveries scheduled between October 31, 2026, and March 31, 2027. The contracts include payment via irrevocable 60-day Usance Letter of Credit and are subject to a warranty period of 60 months from commissioning.

Trading volume reached 51000 shares today, a substantial increase of 112.5% compared to the one-week average volume. Accord Transformer & Switchgear Ltd remained flat year-over-year, contrasting with a 2.31% decline in the NIFTY50 index.
