Adani Energy Solutions CEO to head Adani Infra

Bimal Dayal will be overseeing the implementation of the enormous pipeline of infrastructure projects in thermal, renewable energy and green hydrogen.

The current management team of Adani Energy Solutions (AESL), led by Anil Sardana, managing director, and Kandarp Patel, who has been given charge of all verticals of AESL, will drive the ambitious growth of transmission, distribution and smart meter segments. This movement has been duly approved by the board of directors of AESL.

The firm said with this executive-level transition, the Adani portfolio of companies have taken yet another significant step towards strengthening their resolve to grow the infrastructure business at an aggressive rate of over 15% per annum.

The portfolio recently announced its plan to invest over Rs 7 lakh crore over the next 10 years to consolidate its preeminent position as the largest infrastructure player in India.

Adani Energy Solutions (formerly known as Adani Transmission) is the transmission and distribution business arm of the Adani Group. ATL is the country's largest private transmission company with a cumulative transmission network of 20,000 ckm and 53,000 MVA transformation capacity.

The company's consolidated net profit surged 46.08% to Rs 284.09 crore on 12.83% jump in net sales to Rs 3,421 crore in Q2 FY24 over Q2 FY23.

The scrip declined 5.57% to settle at Rs 1,130.85 on Friday, 8 December 2023.
