Advance Metering Technology Ltd consolidated sales up 74.69% on year in Q2FY2026

Advance Metering Technology Ltd share price softened by 1.55% to Rs 18.48 after the company's net profit plunged by 137.64% to Rs 2.36 crore, while revenue from operations increased sharply by 74.69% to Rs 4.21 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Power Generation industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 10.35 lakh crore, easing 7.02%. It has marginally improved by 0.03% over last one week and edged lower by 1.27% in last one month while the market capitalization of Advance Metering Technology Ltd has slipped by 1.98% and 7.39% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Advance Metering Technology Ltd stood at Rs 2.36 crore in Q2 FY26, declining 2.07% year-on-year, and tanking 137.64% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 5 crore, slipping 4.28% YoY and nosediving by 54.15% sequentially. Total expenses saw a steep drop of 47.51% to Rs 5.79 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 0.83 crore, growing marginally by 5.06% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 1.95 crore, witnessing a strong rise of 16.77% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations declined slightly by 5.99% to Rs 15.53 crore, while net profit jumped 362.69% to Rs 9.3 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA tanked by 1216% to Rs 19.16 crore, and PBT surged 362.69% to Rs 9.3 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 3.9 crore in FY26, as against Rs 0.17 crore in FY25. Advance Metering Technology Ltd nosedived by 27.95% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.63% during the same period.
