Ashapura Minechem must pay Rs 6.13 lakh to the Gujarat Geology and Mining Department

Ashapura Minechem Limited has received an order from the Gujarat Geology and Mining Department dated September 22, 2026, requiring the company to pay Rs 6,13,173 under Rule 22 of the Gujarat Minerals (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation and Storage) Rules, 2017, related to an alleged violation of the aforementioned rules; the company does not anticipate any material operational or financial impact beyond this payment, and is considering escalating the matter to the Appellate Authority.
