DPIIT signs MOU's to support startups

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), part of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with PhonePe and Shell India Pvt. Ltd. to support DPIIT-recognised startups and promote innovation. The partnerships aim to improve access to technology, digital infrastructure, mentorship, market opportunities, and industry networks, fostering a strong startup ecosystem. PhonePe will offer benefits such as transaction credits via its Payment Gateway, access to the Indus AppStore, dedicated support services, and brand visibility. PhonePe will also hold masterclasses and webinars on topics like fintech and business scaling to help startups grow.
