Delhivery Limited’s tax liability reduced to Rs 1.51 crore by West Bengal Appellate Authority

Delhivery Limited announced that it received an order from the Directorate of Commercial Taxes, West Bengal (Appellate Authority) on August 6, 2026, revising a previous tax demand related to input tax credit disallowance for the financial year 2020-21. The appellate authority reduced the original tax liability from Rs 5,35,73,244 to Rs 1,50,83,496 and the penalty from Rs 53,57,324 to Rs 15,08,350; the company intends to pursue further litigation at a higher forum, and states that the matter will have no material impact on its financials, operations, or other activities.
