ESAF Small Finance Bank receives reaffirmed and revised ratings from CARE and CareEdge

ESAF Small Finance Bank Ltd. has announced reaffirmations and revisions to ratings across various instruments from both CARE Ratings and CareEdge Ratings. CARE Ratings reaffirmed its ‘CARE A-; Stable’ rating for Lower Tier-II bonds totaling Rs 150.0, Rs 130.0, and Rs 500.0, and for Tier-II bonds of Rs 20.0, alongside reaffirming ‘CARE A1’ for certificates of deposit totaling Rs 500.0, Rs 20.00, Rs 85.00, Rs 60.00, Rs 50.00, Rs 65, Rs 50, and Rs 150, while also assigning ratings to additional Lower Tier-II bonds and certificates of deposit. CareEdge Ratings revised its outlook to stable from negative, reflecting moderation in fresh slippages and asset quality stress, alongside an improvement in profitability, while also withdrawing a rating for bonds and assigning new ratings for various instruments.
