HDFC Bank Ltd up for third straight session

HDFC Bank Ltd is up for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 718.95, up 1.51% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.3% on the day, quoting at 23327.15. The Sensex is at 74644.78, down 0.18%. HDFC Bank Ltd has slipped around 1.38% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index of which HDFC Bank Ltd is a constituent, has slipped around 2.22% in last one month and is currently quoting at 56606.55, down 0.68% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 378.7 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 271.17 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark September futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 720.95, up 1.44% on the day. HDFC Bank Ltd is down 25.64% in last one year as compared to a 7.58% slide in NIFTY and a 1.94% slide in the Nifty Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 14.44 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
