HPL Electric & Power Ltd consolidated sales down 0.86% on year in Q2FY2026

HPL Electric & Power Ltd share price declined by 0.49% to Rs 343.1 after the company's net profit tanked by 39.51% to Rs 18.69 crore, while revenue from operations eased by 0.86% to Rs 515.24 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Industrial Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.77 lakh crore, gaining 5.67%. It has inched up 3.57% over last one week and rallied by 38.24% in last one month while the market capitalization of HPL Electric & Power Ltd has improved by 0.82% and 2.70% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of HPL Electric & Power Ltd stood at Rs 25.17 crore in Q2 FY26, rising 0.60% year-on-year, and crashing by 39.83% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 61 crore, easing 7.41% YoY and nosediving by 27.24% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 2.76% to Rs 470.15 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 391.06 crore, advancing by 11.55% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 58.08 crore, expanding by 7.50% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations rose 16.39% to Rs 1700.24 crore, while net profit saw a strong growth of 115.43% to Rs 93.99 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 19043% to Rs 249.77 crore, and PBT witnessed a strong rise of 87.43% to Rs 127.64 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 138.21 crore in FY26, as against Rs 100.28 crore in FY25. HPL Electric & Power Ltd crashed 40.14% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.63% during the same period.
