Harish Textile Engineers resolves GST matter, remitting Rs 1.93 crore tax, interest, and penalty

Harish Textile Engineers Limited announced the resolution of a Goods and Services Tax (GST) matter concerning Financial Year 2022-23, previously disclosed on July 17, 2026, related to alleged excess availment of Input Tax Credit. The company has made the requisite payment of Rs 1,93,340 towards the tax, interest, and applicable penalty, as confirmed by the GST Authority via Form GST DRC-04 dated August 10, 2026, and states that the resolution has no further material impact on its operations.
