Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd share price slipped 4.80% to Rs 2.18 after the company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 468.21% to Rs 5.56 crore, while revenue from operations remained flat to Rs 0.0 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26.


The market capitalization of Fertilizers industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 1.63 lakh crore, rallying 19.31%. It has improved by 2.60% over last one week and moved up slightly by 2.36% in last one month while the market capitalization of Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd has remained flat


Profit before tax (PBT) of Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd stood at Rs 5.56 crore in Q2 FY26, falling 11.18% year-on-year, and tumbling by 468.21% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 6 crore, plunging by 16.97% YoY and tanking 52.65% sequentially.


Total expenses surged 28.39% to Rs 4.93 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 1.38 crore, remaining flat YoY.


For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations plunged by 81.70% to Rs 872.01 crore, while net profit tanked by 288.85% to Rs 2424.87 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 85519% to Rs 2725.45 crore, and PBT collapsed by 287.62% to Rs 2434.76 crore compared to previous TTM.


The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 211.06 crore in FY26, as against Rs 44.56 crore in FY25.


Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd nosedived by 62.09% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.52% during the same period.
