Palco Metals Ltd consolidated sales down 15.79% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tanked by 50%

Palco Metals Ltd share price softened by 0.71% to Rs 140.55 after the company's net profit plunged by 50% to Rs 1.52 crore, while revenue from operations reduced 15.79% to Rs 68.0 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Aluminium industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 3.1 lakh crore, rising 9.09%. It has improved by 4.47% over last one week and spiked sharply by 59.24% in last one month while the market capitalization of Palco Metals Ltd has slipped by 0.81% and 5.95% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Palco Metals Ltd stood at Rs 2.05 crore in Q2 FY26, jumping 688.46% year-on-year, and tumbling by 53.41% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 2 crore, surging by 315.09% YoY and plunging by 53.59% sequentially. Total expenses reduced by 13.50% to Rs 65.75 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 64.91 crore, contracting by 14.54% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 0.44 crore, tanking by 49.43% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations surged 26.73% to Rs 245.96 crore, while net profit saw a strong growth of 25.45% to Rs 6.31 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 703% to Rs 10.39 crore, and PBT jumped 49.57% to Rs 8.6 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 30.59 crore in FY26, as against Rs 3.21 crore in FY25. Palco Metals Ltd crashed 21.13% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.63% during the same period.
