Platinum Industries Ltd share price softened by 1.10% to Rs 223.95 after the company's net profit plunged by 25% to Rs 11.13 crore, while revenue from operations slipped 17.48% to Rs 108.94 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26.

It has improved by 2.65% over last one week and heading higher by 12.44% in last one month while the market capitalization of Platinum Industries Ltd has marginally improved by 0.78% and 9.41% in the same period respectively.
Profit before tax (PBT) of Platinum Industries Ltd stood at Rs 14.95 crore in Q2 FY26, tanking 16.11% year-on-year, and declining 9.39% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 10 crore, slipping 8.29% YoY and nosediving by 19.50% sequentially.
Total expenses contracted by 17.75% to Rs 97.31 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 75.89 crore, falling by 16.14% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 6.92 crore, registering a growth of 8.98% YoY.
For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations soared by 48.36% to Rs 392.26 crore, while net profit expanded by 13.54% to Rs 49.39 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 5880% to Rs 40.19 crore, and PBT improved 15.46% to Rs 67.43 crore compared to previous TTM.
The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 3.76 crore in FY26, as against Rs 32.74 crore in FY25.
Platinum Industries Ltd nosedived by 19.17% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.63% during the same period.
