Speciality Restaurants Limited has disclosed that the Directorate of Enforcement has issued a provisional attachment order dated September 25, 2026, directing the attachment of Rs 14,50,09,700 from a company account as part of an ongoing money laundering investigation. The attached amount represents a 25% upfront payment received for warrants that were forfeited due to non-payment by allottees; the company emphasizes it is not an accused in the underlying offense or investigation, and the attachment will remain in force for 180 days. The company states there is no immediate impact on its operations beyond the financial impact of the specified amount and is pursuing legal remedies with its lawyers.
