Steel Authority of India’s Rs 7,600 crore in bank loans reaffirmed as ‘AAA’ by three agencies

Steel Authority of India Ltd announced credit rating actions from multiple agencies on its various debt instruments. India Ratings and Research has reaffirmed its rating of ‘IND AAA’ for the company’s Long Term Bank Loans amounting to Rs 7,600 crore, its Long Term Debt amounting to Rs 2,700 crore, its Short Term Bank Loans amounting to Rs 3,000 crore, and its Commercial Paper amounting to Rs 1,000 crore; Care Ratings has reaffirmed its rating of ‘AAA’ for the Long Term Bank Loans amounting to Rs 7,600 crore, the Long Term Debt amounting to Rs 2,700 crore, the Short Term Bank Loans amounting to Rs 3,000 crore, and the Commercial Paper amounting to Rs 1,000 crore; Brickwork Ratings has reaffirmed its rating of ‘AAA’ for the Long Term Bank Loans amounting to Rs 7,600 crore, the Long Term Debt amounting to Rs 2,700 crore, the Short Term Bank Loans amounting to Rs 3,000 crore, and the Commercial Paper amounting to Rs 1,000 crore, with a Stable outlook maintained by all three rating agencies, and no enhancements, assignments, or withdrawals were noted.
